This is a portrait of my dear mum that I started in 2000 but never finished it. I was trying out several things at the same time and as I always do, I learn a lot from my trials. I guess every artist reaches a point when his/her soul leaves a work.And there are times when a work just needs to be left alone. But I still love it.
